About me

I’m a British-German based in the beautiful city of Hamburg, Germany. I like to call myself an engagement marketer.

about sara vordermeier.JPG

I’m Sara, spelled ‘Sarah’, pronounced ‘SAH-rah’

I’m a copywriter at heart

a grammar nerd, a linguist and journalist by training

and a content SEO by career choice.

I create content that maximises engagement and business conversions at a time when marketing budgets are lower, sales cycles are slower,

expectations on teams to deliver are higher

and AI has thrown a spanner in what we’re all doing and believing.

I work in-house as a full-time content marketing manager in the Uberall Growth Marketing team. Over the last decade, I’ve worked with B2B SaaS and B2C clients in Germany, the UK and the US.

Put simply and honestly:
Sending invoices is nice, but maximising business inbounds is just as nice.

I do passionate work for people who are passionate about their product – and my goal is to help them maximise their content efforts by prioritising what really drives engagement and leads

More than a marketer, I swear

Before spinning out a life story or more of my CV, here’s what I do when I leave my screen:

• Read an actual physical book

• Learn ... especially, about writing, culture or AI

• Watch sports (mostly netball)

• Run around Hamburg, getting blisters as I go
• Go for long walks
• Play netball

• Escape Hamburg for a change of scenery
